Define demand first
Include planned heating, multiple charging loads, shops, outbuildings and other substantial equipment in the professional load assessment. State what must operate at the same time.
Resolve utility feasibility
Confirm available utility capacity, meter/service configuration, equipment acceptance and any required engineering. Trenching, relocation or utility-side construction can change both budget and timing.
Write the cutover plan
Identify permits, inspections, shutoff/reconnection responsibilities and temporary access needs. Ask which utility charges, site restoration and finish work are excluded.
